Terms of Service

Terms and conditions governing website use, quote requests, and professional moving services across Canada.

Disclaimer: These Terms of Service are provided for general website and service-use purposes and should not be considered legal advice. Company management and legal counsel should review and finalize all move-specific cancellation, payment, valuation, liability, claims, and protection terms before these provisions are relied upon as binding contractual terms.

Welcome to All Canada Movers & Logistics. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, our online quote request forms, and the moving, packing, and logistics services provided by All Canada Movers & Logistics across Canada. By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or scheduling services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, requesting a moving estimate, or engaging our moving services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue using our website and services immediately.

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when filling out quote request forms, communicating with our moving coordinators, or signing service documentation.

2. Moving Services and Quotes

Estimates provided through our website quote form, over the telephone, or via email are non-binding preliminary estimates based solely on the details, inventory, and locations provided by the customer.

Final moving charges may differ from initial estimates if the actual shipment inventory, weight, volume, access conditions, packing requirements, move dates, travel distances, stairs, elevators, long carries, hoisting requirements, or other operational circumstances differ from the information originally provided.

Final service pricing, hourly rates, flat rates, and binding service terms are governed strictly by the written estimate or transportation agreement provided to and accepted by the customer prior to the commencement of services. Customers are encouraged to review all written moving documents carefully before authorizing service.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure an efficient and safe relocation, customers are responsible for the following:

  • Accurate Inventory: Providing a complete and accurate inventory of all furniture, cartons, and personal effects requiring transportation.
  • Specialty & Fragile Items: Disclosing fragile, high-value, antique, or specialty articles (such as pianos, artwork, or oversized items) prior to moving day.
  • Property Access & Permissions: Ensuring safe, clear, and unimpeded access to both origin and destination premises, including reserving service elevators, securing parking permits, and arranging necessary building management permissions.
  • Readiness: Ensuring that all items are packed, labeled, disassembled (if agreed), and ready for loading upon the moving team's scheduled arrival, unless full professional packing services have been contracted.
  • Restricted Goods: Ensuring that no dangerous, illegal, or prohibited goods are tendered for transportation.

4. Packing Services and Customer-Packed Items

All Canada Movers & Logistics provides optional professional packing and unpacking services using commercial moving supplies and protective packaging techniques.

Where customers elect to pack their own cartons and containers ("Packed by Owner" or "PBO"), the customer assumes responsibility for properly cushioning, sealing, and structurally preparing the contents. The treatment of loss or damage involving customer-packed containers is governed by the terms of the applicable written moving agreement, transportation contract, and selected valuation terms.

5. Valuation and Transit Protection

The applicable level of carrier liability, valuation protection, and transit coverage for any shipment is governed strictly by the written transportation agreement, Bill of Lading, and applicable provincial and federal transportation regulations.

Customers should review available protection options, declared values, and liability limits before moving day. Different valuation levels provide varying degrees of financial recovery in the event of documented loss or damage during transit.

High-value articles or extraordinary items may require specific written declaration, appraisal, and additional protection arrangements prior to dispatch. All claims and settlements remain subject to the exclusions, conditions, and limitations outlined in the customer's signed moving contract.

6. Items Not Accepted for Transportation

Customers must not tender, pack, or request transportation for items that are unlawful, hazardous, flammable, explosive, corrosive, perishable, or otherwise restricted under Canadian federal, provincial, or municipal transport regulations.

All Canada Movers & Logistics reserves the right to refuse or unload any item that cannot legally, safely, or reasonably be transported by our vehicles and personnel.

7. Access, Delays and Unforeseen Conditions

Relocation schedules and transit times may be influenced by circumstances beyond our direct control, including severe weather conditions, highway closures, traffic delays, vehicle mechanical issues, parking restrictions, elevator malfunctions, difficult site access, or schedule changes requested by the customer.

Operational circumstances requiring additional labour, long carrying distances, hoisting, extra flights of stairs, intermediate storage, or extended waiting time may result in additional charges as outlined in your written estimate or transportation contract. While our teams make every reasonable effort to maintain scheduled delivery windows, delivery times are subject to operational conditions and the terms of your written moving agreement.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable notice requirements, deposits, refunds, or charges, are governed by the written estimate or moving agreement provided to the customer.

Customers wishing to reschedule or cancel a booked move should notify All Canada Movers & Logistics as promptly as possible in accordance with the notification guidelines set out in their written service documentation.

9. Claims for Loss or Damage

Customers are responsible for inspecting their delivered items upon completion of unloading at the destination and noting any visible damage or missing articles on the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt before signing.

Any claim for loss, damage, or service discrepancy must be submitted in accordance with the claims process, notice periods, and documentation requirements specified in your signed transportation contract and applicable law. Claims are evaluated and processed strictly pursuant to the agreed valuation coverage and contract terms.

10. Payment Terms

Payment obligations, accepted payment methods, deposit requirements, and billing schedules are established in the written estimate or transportation agreement provided to the customer.

Additional authorized services, packing supplies, storage fees, or adjustments resulting from changed move conditions will be itemized in the final invoice as provided in the written agreement. Payment arrangements must be settled prior to or at the time of delivery as required by your moving contract.

11. Moving Agreement and Transportation Documents

These website Terms of Service provide general terms governing website use and service inquiries. For an individual move, the written estimate, transportation agreement, Bill of Lading, and other signed service documents applicable to that shipment govern the specific services, pricing, valuation, and move-specific terms.

15. Changes to These Terms

All Canada Movers & Logistics reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with the updated revision date. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are subject to applicable Canadian federal and provincial laws and regulations. The terms governing a specific move may also be set out in the customer's written transportation agreement.

If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
